Where Tom is now

In June 2003 Tom Platts-Mills left London to go round the world on a bicycle, and in November 2006 he arrived in Cape Town, breaking the world record for the slowest ever crossing of Africa. The next stage of the plan - Cape Town to London up the east coast of Africa, through the Middle East and round the Black Sea - is set to start in 2009. In the meantime he's crossing the States, east to west.
